No. Choosing not to have an information consultation before the mammography screening will have no negative impacts on your insurance coverage or your care.

If you do not wish to have an informational consultation, please bring the form waiving the informational consultation to your examination. This is included with the invitation to the mammography screening. You will also be able to sign this waiver at the screening clinic. Your signature is required, since physicians are obligated to offer this consultation and also to document whether you had the information consultation or waived it.
