Why may the information consultation be in a different location from the actual mammogram?

Just as any other x-ray, the mammogram images to screen for early detection of breast cancer are taken by x-ray technicians, not physicians. The medical tasks include evaluating the mammogram images of the breast and performing follow-up examinations. These may take place at a different location from the mammogram. This also applies to the information consultations prior to the examination, which are only performed by screening physicians.
