I'm receiving breast cancer after-care. Can I still participate in the mammography screening?

If you're already being treated for breast cancer, please inform the central office which sent the invitation. You will still receive after-care from your treating physician, who will also ensure regular additional examinations.

Five years after being treated for breast cancer you will automatically be invited to the mammography screening examination again.

However, even after five years you are still normally entitled to personalized breast cancer after-care through your treating physician. Please consult your treating physician on whether further personalized breast cancer after-care or a check-up through the Mammography Screening Program would be suitable in your case.
